Residents of a Brookhaven, Delaware County condo complex say they need help getting rid of some unwelcome visitors: dozens of bats that just won't go away.
The bats are gaining access to the Hilltop Condominiums on Hilltop Drive through the roof.
They apparently sleep inside a wall during the day and come out at dusk.
Residents say they've complained about the problem for weeks but nothing has been done.
A maintenance supervisor for the complex wouldn't go on camera, but told Action News that management has been working on the problem for 3 weeks. Initial eradication efforts didn't work and another company has been hired to take care of the problem.
A net will be placed on the entry point to the building and the bats will be able to get out but not back inside. Then the building will be sealed.
The management company also said this is a continual problem because of the woods that surround the complex.
